In my mid 40s, I was fat and in terrible shape. I was headed down the same path as many in my family, early heart disease and a shortened life. I decided to commit to a goal, competing in a bodybuilding competition at age 50. I dedicated myself to this goal, training twice a day. I didn't listen to the naysayers who said I couldn't do it. I achieved my goal and finished second in my division. Now I’m motivated to stay in shape for the rest of my life and inspire others.
